Kindoo! Family Flexible Care Weekly Wrap up
Another busy week at Kindoo! with loads of science activities to celebrate Science Week, some terrific group time socialization, the long anticipated visit by 'Archie'- our resident dog and family participation from the Jones family to celebrate our growing community at Kindoo!
To celebrate Science Week, the children participated in a number of interesting experiments such as 'Crawling Colors' (below) and our soda and bi-carb color runs... a fascinating way to learn that various materials can be manipulated to form others.
A few of our Thursday regulars (below) are deeply engaged in learning about empathy and caring for animals when "Archie" -our resident, and extremely friendly, Labradoodle- came for a visit.
With three sand-pits at the Kindoo! Ferntree Gully campus, there is ample room to explore and create. By promoting social interaction, however, Leo, Annelise and William had an opportunity to grow their sharing and collaboration skills (below).
Some wonderful creativity and construction going on here as Russell and Leo spend some time with Dad- Adam- (below) and the ever popular 'Marble Run'.
